Why Choose Tooth Pals Pediatric Dentistry, Airdrie?

Meet Our Pediatric Dentist in Airdrie

Dr. Peeyush Ranjan

Dr. Ranjan’s journey in dentistry began in 2009 when he earned his General Dentistry degree. It didn’t take long for him to discover his true passion: working with children. This passion led him to pursue specialized training in pediatric dentistry, which he completed through a residency at Nova Southeastern Universityand Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. During his training, he served as Chief Resident. He is also a Board Certified  pediatric dentist in both the USA and Canada.

Dr. Ranjan is deeply committed to providing care tailored to the needs of every child. During his residency, he conducted a master’s research project at the Mailman Segal Center for Human Development, focusing on how picture-guided techniques can help children with Autism Spectrum Disorder improve their oral hygiene. This experience strengthened his dedication to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all children.

Tooth Pals is truly the best place to take your kids. Dr. Ranjan is not just a dentist; he genuinely cares about every child. My two kids absolutely adore him, and the hygienists are equally wonderful. I wholeheartedly recommend Tooth Pals to everyone. My son is autistic, and visiting the dentist has always been a challenge for him. However, everyone at Tooth Pals goes above and beyond to ensure his visit is a joyful experience. This means the world to me, especially after our heartbreaking experiences with two other dentists in Airdrie. Don’t waste your time taking your kids anywhere else. Go straight to Tooth Pals and you won’t be disappointed.

I was referred to Tooth Pals and could not be happier with the way they have helped meet my little girls dental needs. They are attentive, caring, and supportive in making sure she is comfortable. Their facility and staff have helped reduce her anxiety with her treatments making sure to answer all out questions along the way. What an incredible place to take the Littles, especially if they struggle with anxiety or fears of the dentist! Great atmosphere and the play area helps to reduce stress for the kiddos !

My son had a laser frenectomy done at 5 weeks old and they did an amazing job. They kept my husband and I well informed on the whole process and with that we had wonderful success. Breastfeeding is now a much more pleasant experience for both my son and I. Significantly less pain and much faster feeding time. Thank you to the Tooth Pals team!

I had a wonderful experience at Toothpals . The entire team is incredibly friendly, patient, and professional. They made my child feel comfortable and at ease from the moment we walked in. The clinic environment is clean, welcoming, and perfectly designed for kids.
The dentist explained every procedure clearly and ensured we understood the treatment plan, which really gave us confidence and peace of mind. I truly appreciate the gentle care and attention to detail. Highly recommended for any parent looking for a caring and trustworthy pediatric dental clinic!

FAQ's

Your child should see the dentist at age one or six months after the eruption of their first tooth. Early visits allow healthy development to be tracked and dental care to become normal and enjoyable from an early stage.
Pediatric dentists are a bit more qualified to attend to care, that is, oral care for children. They are aware of children’s ways of thinking and create a comfortable, child-focused environment geared toward smiles in the making.
The initial visit is a gentle, instructional, and enjoyable experience! We examine your child’s teeth, provide tips on hygiene, and respond to questions—laying the groundwork for a lifetime of good dental habits.
Children need to see the dentist every six months. Checkups prevent issues, monitor progress, and establish familiarity and self-confidence with dental care.
Baby teeth are used for chewing and speaking. They also direct the permanent teeth to the correct place. They play an important role in overall growth and encourage a confident, cheerful smile.
Begin by wiping your baby’s gums gently, then clean with a soft toothbrush and a small smear of fluoride toothpaste when teeth emerge. An early start guarantees strong, healthy habits.
Cavities are the result of sugar and bacteria. Brushing with fluoride toothpaste, no sugary snacks, water drinking, and a visit to the dentist keep your child’s smile cavity-free.
Yes! Sealants keep the pits of back teeth free of food and germs. They are safe, quick, and a great way to prevent cavities as your child grows.
