Dr. Ranjan’s journey in dentistry began in 2009 when he earned his General Dentistry degree. It didn’t take long for him to discover his true passion: working with children. This passion led him to pursue specialized training in pediatric dentistry, which he completed through a residency at Nova Southeastern University and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. During his training, he served as Chief Resident. He is also a Board Certified pediatric dentist in both the USA and Canada.

Dr. Ranjan is deeply committed to providing care tailored to the needs of every child. During his residency, he conducted a master’s research project at the Mailman Segal Center for Human Development, focusing on how picture-guided techniques can help children with Autism Spectrum Disorder improve their oral hygiene. This experience strengthened his dedication to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all children.

After spending several years working in the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Ranjan decided to trade the rain of Seattle for the sunshine of Calgary. Since 2021, he has been proudly serving families in the greater Calgary area and is delighted to call Tooth Pals his permanent home.
Dr. Ranjan believes every child deserves a positive, fun, and anxiety-free experience at the dentist. He regularly takes continuing education courses to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and tools to help children feel comfortable during their visits. Whether it’s calming nerves or bringing out big smiles, Dr. Ranjan is passionate about helping kids feel at ease while taking care of their dental health.
